CIB Security Measures

Secure Sessions.

When entering to any Cathedral’s Internet Banking services, you are entering one of the most secure sessions with a high encryption level, thanks to a SSLH certificate of 1024 bits signed by several Worldwide Certificated Authorities. All HTTPS protocols are monitored by Cathedral Investment Bank security center, so, any attack of any kind, are neutralized and disabled in minutes.

Encryption.
SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology is used in your Internet Banking session to encrypt your personal and financial operations before they leave your computer, to ensure that nobody else can read them. Depending on your internet browser, you may receive a popup window to notify you will be entering a secure page.

Banks often use 128-bit SSL encryption due to its low cost and easy administration, which is accepted as standard within the industry. However Cathedral Investment Bank uses an encryption level nearly 10 times greater than 1024 bits in several security layers in accordance to the area of the site.

An e-mail banking service through Internet is similarly protected with encryption technology (unlike your traditional e-mail, which usually is not certain).

Expiration Sessions.

If you forget to log out after performing online transactions, or if your computer remains inactive for a period during a session, our systems will automatically close your session. The pages visited during a secure session, are not stored for your own safety on the temporary files in your PC.

Technology .

Using multiple security layers in order to protect and separate the risk levels and vulnerability to which the customer can be exposed.

For obvious security reasons, we cannot spread the constitution of them, but these are typically used by commercial banks:

OS updated with the latest security patches for Linux servers and in your case for Windows servers.
Institutional Antivirus Software, which is updated through its own central core intelligent computer.
Physical and logical Firewalls security to prevent any unauthorized access to the servers of the group.

Identity Privacy.
Using a dynamic session identifiers of 1024 bits assigned to users and established passwords to users in order to ensure that we are dealing with one of our customers throughout the whole session.

Automatic Blocking.

After a number of incorrect entering attempts to the system, our server will automatically disable the online access to your account. To reactivate your access you should contact the pool safety standard service by telephone in any of our Cathedral Investment Bank Worldwide Contact Service Centers.
